The "Scott" by Hamilton, released in 1951, was indeed a prestigious timepiece known for its quality and luxury. The watch featured a 14K yellow gold case, which was notably substantial for its time, measuring 34 x 22.75 mm with a 19 jewel, 982 'Medallion' movement. Due to its high cost at the time of release, fewer of these watches were produced, making them particularly rare and sought after today. This piece is extremely clean and a prize for any collector. The band is alligator calf. We note a break in the leather on verso where it was frequently buckled, but the integrity of the strap remains. Total gross weight is 28 grams.
