1803. JR-3. Sharpness of Extremely Fine or better. A very desirable high grade example of the elusive 1803 Draped Bust dime. Hair detail complete and all stars and legend present. The surfaces are a dusty light grey with hints of lighter luster about the borders. Probably cleaned long ago and still quite desirable despite a scattering of miniscule marks, visible only under magnification. A very desirable high grade example with a lot of history and appeal for an early Draped Bust dime of 1803. This was the year of the adoption of the Louisiana Purchase!
