A Brit Milah would be celebrated 8 days after a Jewis male is born to mark his entry into the covenant between God and the Jewish people. Knife is 6.1" long and remains razer sharp (no scabbard nor does it fold, careful!) Handle has striking repousse work of a father holding up his young son, the other side a Rabbi or Mohel with an intimidating blade in his hand. Interestingly, a hidden compartment pulls out from within handle that is perforated to dust after the bris with a disinfectant powder.
While the blade is steel the handle is sterling silver and with surprising weight. Total gross weight is 81.50 grams.
