Outstanding Thick, Heavy, Dark Green Blown Glass Unguentarium Likely for Kohl, Choice Example and Condition. Blown glass unguentarium in heavy green glass. Short tapered neck with wide lip. The glass is emerald green with areas of iridescence that sparkle. Likely used for kohl, a mineral compound used to dramatic effect to darken eyelids and eyelashes. Nicely formed, extremely appealing example of ancient glass. Estimated Value $300 - 500
