Elongated and Tapered, Tall-Necked Unguentarium, 2nd-3rd Century CE in Light Blue Glass with Silver Iridescence. Beautiful. Visually appealing unguentarium with a graceful tapered neck blown with light blue glass enhanced greatly by silver iridescence completely encircling the flask. These bottles were commonly used for ointments, oils and perfumes and indeed, it remains remarkable these pieces survived thousands of years. Bottle is 11.5 cm tall with no cracks, chips or repairs. Estimated Value $300 - 400
