Extremely Scarce, 1887 Adrian C. Anson Cigarette Card Published by Allen & Ginter's Cigarettes in Excellent + Condition (1852-1922) Adrian "Cap" Anson is hailed as one of the top players of his era and certainly, one of the first superstars of baseball. He played a record 27 consecutive seasons mostly with the Chicago Stockings/Colts (now known as the Cubs) as their star first baseman a well as batter becoming the first member of the 3,000 hit club during his storied career. Later in life, he toured as a vaudeville act taking questions recalling signature moments in his life.
Extremely scarce Adrian C. Anson cigarette card #N28 published by the Richmond, VA. tobacco company. Graded by SGC 5.5, Excellent + and considered the best card from the entire card set from that year. Recent years have seen this card increase in value dramatically.
