Basketball inscribed "Best Wishes, John Wooden, UCLA and just below signing in his unmistakable bold hand (Kareem) Abdul Jabbar. John Wooden (1910-2010) was coach of the UCLA Bruins from 1948-1975 and won 10 National Championships seven of those consecutively. Kareem Abdul Jabbar (known as Lew Alcindor in college) played for UCLA for three years, from 1966 to 1969. During that time, he led the Bruins to three consecutive NCAA championships and was named College Player of the Year twice. Mint, pristine condition.
Football from The Quarterback Club signed by Jim Plunkett, Bart Starr #15, Roman Gabriel, Gifford Nielsen, Charley Johnson, Archie Manning, Jim Hart, Joe Ferguson, Otto Graham, Johnny Unitas, Danny White, Y.A. Tittle, Lynn Dickie, Bill Wade and Vince Ferragamo. All the signatures signed in blue have faded by 50% but still very legible.
