Buck Rogers Atomic Pistol XZ-35 with Rare Original Leather Holster, Daisy Manufacturing Co., ca. 1946. An outstanding matched set featuring the postwar Buck Rogers Atomic Pistol XZ-35 together with its scarce original Daisy-issued leather holster. The pistol, manufactured by Daisy Mfg. Co. (Plymouth, Michigan) circa 1946, is constructed of pressed steel with nickel-silver finish, ribbed grip, finned mid-barrel, and domed rear housing with red "vent" cutouts. Side is stamped "Buck Rogers Atomic Pistol" with Daisy markings and patent numbers. Accompanying is the factory leather holster, tooled with floral designs and boldly embossed flap marked "Buck Rogers Atomic Pistol," complete with belt loop, buckle strap, and riveted fittings. Both pieces exhibit surface wear, toning, and use consistent with age, but remain excellent survivors from the golden era of space-age toys.
