Benjamin Lincoln. Lincoln proved a celebrated Major General in the Continental Army, the first US Secretary of War and the only general involved with three significant surrenders by the British Army. He was for several years the politically influential customs collector for the Port of Boston, the first to hold that position. The receipt is museum quality, the laid paper is bright white, Lincoln's signature robust, with document 5 x 9.75" having no tears or issues.
