Two Antique Christening Tankards from Russia of Quality and One Unusual Beaker Style Kiddush Cup all Three 19th Century, 84 Silver. Two antique, 19th Century christening tankards of exceptional quality. The tallest (4 x 3") is a masterpiece of engraved foliate designs of precision and graceful elegance. There appears to have been issues with the base as it has been repaired. Nevertheless the tankard displays beautifully. The shorter 2.75 x 2.5" tankard 84 silver with gold gilt with extremely detailed townscapes separated by an elaborate foliate design. There also seems to be an odd soldering where the base meets the tankard when made. The third piece is a beaker style Kiddush cup with Greek key, foliate and scalloped window designs. Exceptional work with the beaker in very fine condition as we note the rim and base having a minor bend. Total weight 11 ozt. Estimated Value $300 - 500
