German Indenture in Fine Condition Dated May 13, 1765 with Large Seal Attached and Intact Plus Five Other 18th Century German Documents. Fine indenture in German dated May 13, 1765 on vellum that has been well archived. Text is very clear with document having overall toning and just one area of darkening on the reverse of document. We also note only light damp staining. Impressive large wax seal is still attached to tags giving this piece great visual appeal. 14.5 x 22", with vellum still supple. No tears or repairs.
Also included are six other late 18th Century German documents, untranslated, mostly records of payments including a document signed by Frederich Krebs dated 1770 known for his fraktur artistry (ornate illustrations on certificates for elite occasions). Very good to excellent condition.
