Autographed note signed to Hamilton Fish, Governor of New York and later, United States Secretary of State to President Grant. A very cordial note expressing he had been away for a week and returned to see the invitation by Governor Fish. 6.25 x 4.25 in very fine condition with evidence of handling and a tiny puncture (stabilized) and it is no all but invisible.
